WE HAVE BEEN FAVOURED WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO SELL CONTENTS FROM THE "TWITTER" JOHNSON ESTATE. HIS COLLECTION HAS BEEN HELD IN STORAGE FOR MANY YEARS. "TWITTER" WAS AN ACROBAT- CLOWN HAVING PERFORMED WITH BARBUM & BAILEY IN THE STATES FOR YEARS IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 1900s. "TWITTER" MADE FRONT PAGE OF THE BOSTON HERALD AROUND MID-CENTURY WHEN STAYING AT A HOTEL THERE THAT WENT ON FIRE, HE WAS TRAPPED ON THE 4TH FLOOR AND TO AVOID BEING BURNED TO DEATH (AS SOME WERE), HE GOT OUT THE WINDOW AND HUNG BY HIS FINGERTIPS FOR SEVERAL HOURS UNTIL THEY GOT A FIRETRUCK WITH A LADDER THAT WOULD REACH UP MOST OF THE WAY. IN ORDER TO ACTUALLY REACH THE LADDER, HE USED HIS ACROBATIC SKILLS TO DO A BACKFLIP FROM THE WINDOWSILL AND CAUGHT HOLD OF A RUNG OF THE LADDER.
